The Marketing Initiatives Grant Program, managed by the Northern Development Initiative Trust (NDIT), provides funding to support new marketing campaigns and projects that aim to boost economic growth and diversification in communities within Northern British Columbia.

Overview of the MARKETING INITIATIVES program:

This grant program supports marketing projects that enhance the visibility and attractiveness of communities and regions by targeting various promotional objectives such as business attraction, resident recruitment, visitor attraction, and investment marketing. Eligible projects may include branding efforts, web-based strategies, social media campaigns, wayfinding signage, print advertising, and other creative marketing tactics that bring economic benefits to the community. All projects must be independent of existing annual marketing plans, with clear, measurable outcomes to demonstrate economic impact. Funding Amount The program provides up to $20,000 in grant funding, covering a maximum of 50% of the total eligible project budget. Applicants are responsible for securing the remaining project funding, and a detailed budget is required as part of the application.
