This initiative aims to help businesses grow by attracting more customers through improved online visibility and engagement.

Eligibility criteria of the Canada Digital Grant program:
  • To be eligible for the grant, businesses must meet the following criteria:
  • Business Type: For-profit and registered or incorporated.
  • Website: Must have a functional business website.
  • Revenue: At least $100,000 in revenue in the most recent tax year.
  • Business Model: Operates primarily through physical interactions and transactions, without reliance on the internet for core functions.
  • Compliance: Agree to complete follow-up surveys, provide feedback on the grant experience, and consent to having the company name published as a grant recipient.
  • Previous Funding: Must not have previously received the Boost Your Online Presence Grant or the $2,400 CDAP Grow Your Business Online Grant.
  • Ineligible Applicants:
  • Previous recipients of the Boost Your Online Presence Grant or the $2400 CDAP Grow Your Business Online Grant
  • Non Profit Organizations
  • Charities
  • Retail Stores
  • Restaurants
  • Corporate Chains
  • Franchises
  • Brokerage companies, such as mortgage brokers, investment advisors, insurance agents, real estate agents, etc.
  • The following expenses are not eligible for the grant
  • Expenses made before the grant approval
  • Website Updates, if they are not related to SEO or social media marketing campaign(s)
  • Sponsored Placement expenses with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, X ads, Reddit Ads, Quora Ads, and other similar platforms
  • Hardware Purchase
  • Opportunity costs
  • Lobbyist Expenses
  • New capital expenditures
