Eligible programs must offer new “try it” or “learn to” opportunities, conduct workshops addressing barriers to physical activity, or provide inclusive and equitable wellness initiatives, particularly for marginalized groups. These grants help organizations engage the community, enhance accessibility, and improve physical literacy, emphasizing inclusivity and safe practices. Events should target removing obstacles to participation for underserved populations.

  • Workshops or symposiums raising awareness about barriers to physical activity for marginalized populations.
  • Programs aligned with the Live Active Strategy.
  • Ineligible expenses include:
  • Existing programs or sports leagues.
  • Fundraising events, private parties, and banquets.
  • Requests for travel or personal needs.
