EXPORT Travel Trade Program

The EXPORT Travel Trade Program, administered by Tourism Nova Scotia, aims to support tourism operators in building partnerships with travel trade partners and expanding national and international sales opportunities through two streams: Travel Trade Readiness and Marketplace Support.
  • Tourism Nova Scotia
Overview of the EXPORT Travel Trade Program program:

The program helps Nova Scotia tourism businesses enhance their market presence by working with travel trade channels, such as tour operators, wholesalers, and travel agents. The Travel Trade Readiness stream offers one-on-one coaching to develop strategies for selling through travel trade networks, improving business practices, and identifying target markets. Participants in this stream receive an in-depth assessment and action plan with ongoing support for six months. The Marketplace Support stream provides financial assistance to export-ready tourism operators to offset registration fees for travel trade marketplaces. These marketplaces offer opportunities to connect with buyers, forge new partnerships, and strengthen existing relationships, ultimately increasing sales in high-potential markets. Tourism Nova Scotia prioritizes partnerships with businesses that align with its strategic goals for market expansion.
