The Green Industrial Facilities Manufacturing Program (GIFMP) provides financial assistance to support the implementation of energy efficiency and energy management solutions designed to maximize energy performance, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and increase competitiveness for industry in Canada.

  • Energy Managers: Hiring or designating personnel responsible for overseeing energy management within the facility.
  • Energy Management Systems: Implementing systems to continuously monitor and improve energy use.
  • Capital Investments: Making physical upgrades to improve energy efficiency.
  • Eligible Costs:
  • To support the implementation of these activities, eligible costs may include:
  • Salaries and Benefits: For employees involved in the project.
