Product Development Partnership Program (PDPP)

The Product Development Partnership Program (PDPP) in Yukon supports not-for-profit organizations and community groups to carry out tourism development initiatives that enhance visitor experiences and capacity in the Yukon tourism sector.
  • Government of Yukon (Department of Tourism and Culture)
Overview of the Product Development Partnership Program (PDPP) program:

The Product Development Partnership Program (PDPP) is designed to stimulate the growth of tourism products and visitor experiences within Yukon by providing funding to organizations (rather than private businesses) that undertake projects supporting their community or members. Eligible projects include developing workshops, conducting research to identify tourism opportunities, creating standards or codes of conduct, and offering capacity-building initiatives. The program covers up to 90% of eligible costs, while the applicant must supply at least 10% equity, either in cash or possibly in-kind. Projects must start and finish within a single Yukon fiscal year (April 1 to March 31). Payments are based on actual costs incurred.

Benefits of the Product Development Partnership Program (PDPP) program:
  • Access funding for your Yukon not-for-profit organization to cover up to 90% of eligible project costs to undertake tourism development initiatives that support your membership or community.
