Aftercare Program

This program is intended to provide professional support to new businesses that have obtained assistance under another FPEGF program in order to help improve the opportunity for success.

Overview of the Aftercare Program program:

Up to $20,000 in funding is available for new businesses that have received assistance from another First Peoples Economic Growth Fund (FPEGF) program to hire a professional business consultant to identify areas that may require special attention.

Benefits of the Aftercare Program program:
  • Nature of Funding
  • Funding available is up to 75% of the costs to a maximum of $20,000. Approved funding must be used within two years. The funding is non-repayable.
  • Professional Support
  • Applicants must provide the name and qualifications of the proposed consultant, proposed terms of reference and a quote.
Eligibility criteria of the Aftercare Program program:
  • Terms and Conditions
  • Funding under this program is intended to allow the business to engage the services of a professional consultant to examine the operations of the business in order to identify areas that may require special attention;
  • Funding is not intended for the development of interim or annual financial statements.
