The Future Capital Executive Program by Female Funders is designed to equip executives and professionals with the knowledge and skills to become angel investors and support early-stage companies. The program offers training on investment fundamentals, strategies, and decision-making processes, with a focus on increasing diversity in the venture capital space. Participants will gain the expertise needed to make informed investment decisions and contribute to the growth of innovative startups.

Eligibility criteria of the Future Capital Executive Program program:
  • To be eligible for the Future Capital Executive Program, applicants should meet the following general criteria:

  • Professional Background:
  • Mid- to senior-level professionals
  • Entrepreneurs, executives, finance leaders, legal professionals, or startup advisors
  • Demographic Focus:
  • Priority given to individuals from underrepresented or equity-seeking groups, such as:
  • Women
  • Black, Indigenous, and racialized people
  • LGBTQ2S+
  • People with disabilities
  • Interest in Capital Markets:
  • Passion for early-stage investing, venture capital, or startup funding
  • May or may not have prior investment experience
  • Commitment:
  • Must be able to attend all required online sessions and participate in program activities
  • Financial Readiness:
  • Applicants may be investing their own capital or seeking to engage in funding decisions through syndicates, funds, or advisory roles
