The Zensurance Small Business Grant 2025 awards one $25,000 grand prize and five $1,000 runner-up grants to Canadian small business owners. Applicants must share their business story, goals, and how they would use the grant. Eligibility is limited to registered Canadian businesses with annual revenue under $1 million. Exclusions include Quebec, Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories. Entrants must submit a short video if shortlisted.

Eligibility criteria of the Zensurance Small Business Grant program:
  • Eligible Applicants Must:
  • Be a Canadian resident, aged 18 or older (Except Quebec, Yukon, Northwest Territories, or Nunavut)
  • Be a budding entrepreneur or the owner of a small business
  • For-profit, nonprofit, and social enterprises are all eligible
  • Employees of eligible businesses may apply with written permission from the owner, CEO, or president
  • Own or represent a revenue-generating business that meets all of the following:
    • Is registered and operates in Canada (except Quebec, Yukon, NWT, Nunavut)
    • Has 1100 employees
    • Generates less than $1,000,000 CAD in annual revenue
    • Has a dedicated business bank account that is not used for personal expenses
