The Women's Enterprise Centre of British Columbia (WEBC) offers business loans specifically for women entrepreneurs. The program provides loans of up to $150,000 to start, expand, or purchase a business. Additionally, loans over $150,000 may be available through a partnership with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC). The loans come with flexible repayment terms and are designed to support women in building and growing their businesses. WEBC also offers support services such as business advice, mentorship, and training to help women succeed in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Eligibility criteria of the Business Loans for Women program:
  • A woman who owns and controls at least 51% of a business that is registered and located in BC, or 50% for wife-husband teams
  • A Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Residing in BC
  • Over 19 years old
