Overview of the Celebrations & Events Grant- Community Events program:

This program offers funding to support the development of new community events and the growth of existing ones. Eligible events are typically single-day occurrences at a neighborhood scale, aiming to foster community connections and enhance the quality of life for residents. Examples of previously funded events include Blueridge Good Neighbour Day, Deep Cove Daze, Osprey Festival, N'chemus Day (Slahal Festival), CityFest, North Shore Folk Fest, and Pride at the Pier

  • Community associations; merchants associations or business improvement associations
  • Charitable organizations, and
  • Other recognized community groups
