This program specifically assists visual artists who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit) and are based in Ontario, enabling them to develop their artistic practices and work on new creative projects.

  • Ineligible applicants
  • Non-Indigenous applicants, ad hoc groups and collectives, organizations
  • Practice: Must be a practicing visual artist involved in creating work in any visual art form (e.g., painting, sculpture, textile, installation, etc.).
  • Previous Recipients: Artists who have previously received funding from this program are eligible to apply again, but must have completed reporting on past grants.
