Overview of the Indigenous Youth Cultural Resilience Grant program:

The Cultural Grant is available to qualified donees including First Nation communities, community youth groups, organizations, and charities whose projects focus on indigenous youth aged 12-30 within the Atlantic Provinces. This initiative aims to foster the revitalization of cultural practices by providing grants to and partnering with community collectives for the purpose of delivering hands-on cultural training and education.

Benefits of the Indigenous Youth Cultural Resilience Grant program:
  • Qualified applicants will have access to a loan of up to $15,000. Interest rate is fixed at 8.5%. Repayment term is up to 5 years.
Eligibility criteria of the Indigenous Youth Cultural Resilience Grant program:
  • Your project must focus on culture or language;
  • Your project should be sustainable, impactful, and create long-lasting positive effects and opportunities for youth in your community;
  • The project must serve youth between the ages of 12 and 30, and at least one youth must be involved in the planning and application process;
  • Submissions will be judged on cultural impact, sustainability, youth-driven, and project impact;
  • Winners must be a registered charity or Qualified donee. If you are not, please reach out; we can provide assistance.
