Overview of the Quality of Life Grant program:

The Saskatoon Community Foundation administers three primary Community Grants Programs: Vital Focus Grants: These grants provide multi-year funding for projects addressing homelessness, mental health, and equity. Informed by the Saskatoon Vital Signs® report, they aim to respond to the community's top priorities with a data-driven approach. Eligible projects can receive up to $20,000 per year for up to five years. Quality of Life Grants: Focused on fostering belonging, inclusion, and reconciliation, these grants support one-year projects that contribute to a vibrant community where everyone feels they belong. The maximum grant size is $10,000. Youth Endowment Saskatoon (Y.E.S.) Grants: These grants provide funding for projects aimed at children and youth, with specific focus areas determined annually by the Youth Advisory Council. The maximum grant size is $10,000. The Foundation emphasizes partnerships with registered charities and qualified donees as defined by the Income Tax Act of Canada. Organizations that are not qualified donees must collaborate with qualified partners to be eligible for funding.

Eligibility criteria of the Quality of Life Grant program:

Eligible Applicants: Registered charities and qualified donees as per the Income Tax Act of Canada. Non-qualified organizations must partner with qualified donees to apply.
Project Focus: Projects must align with the specific focus areas of each grant program, such as homelessness, mental health, equity, inclusion, reconciliation, or youth development.
Geographic Focus: Primarily projects serving the Saskatoon community.
