Overview of the Roulez Vert — Used vehicle rebate program:

The Roulez Vert Program is a key initiative under Québec’s Plan for a Green Economy 2030, administered by the Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs. It aims to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from road transportation by incentivizing the use of EVs. The program offers rebates for the purchase or long-term lease of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, as well as financial aid for installing level-2 charging stations at eligible locations. Its goal is to support the province’s target of having 1.6 million registered EVs by 2030. Businesses, individuals, and municipalities in Québec can access funding through different program streams depending on their specific needs.

Benefits of the Roulez Vert — Used vehicle rebate program:
  • Reduces financial barriers to EV adoption.
  • Encourages GHG emission reductions and energy savings.
