  • Location Requirement: Employers must be based in Nova Scotia and registered with the Registry of Joint Stock Companies.
  • Business Number: A valid business number is required to participate.
  • Employment Opportunities: Employers should be capable of offering a sustainable, long-term job opportunity to the new hire.
  • Training and Mentorship: Employers must provide on-the-job training and mentorship to the employee, ensuring they gain the necessary skills and experience.
  • For Job Seekers:
  • Employment Status: Applicants must be unemployed and legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Priority Groups: Preference is given to individuals facing barriers to employment, such as recent graduates, individuals lacking work experience, those transitioning between sectors, and underrepresented groups in the workforce.
