The program offers funding to support research and development projects that address industry challenges, covering costs such as personnel, equipment, and materials. Open to both businesses and post-secondary institutions, the program encourages joint proposals that outline research goals and methods. By facilitating access to cutting-edge research and academic expertise, the Alliance Grants Program aims to drive technological advancements and foster economic growth through strengthened industry-academic partnerships.
