Eligibility criteria of the Carbon Capture Kickstart program:
  • To be eligible for the Carbon Capture Kickstart Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Geographic Focus: The project must be located in Alberta, Canada.
  • Technology Readiness Level (TRL): Projects should be at a TRL between 6 and 9, indicating that the technology is at or near the demonstration phase.
  • GHG Emissions Reduction: The project must have the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Commercialization Potential: The technology should have strong potential for commercialization and deployment within Alberta.
