Overview of the Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) program:

The Strategic Innovation Fund, managed by Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada, is designed to promote innovation in key industrial sectors. SIF is open to businesses, not-for-profits, and academic institutions pursuing initiatives in areas such as clean technology, digital transformation, health and biosciences, and advanced manufacturing. The program offers funding through two streams: Stream 1 supports research, development, and commercialization, while Stream 2 focuses on ecosystem building and collaborative partnerships.
