Eligibility criteria of the UCeed Social Impact Fund program:

• Socially Focused Ventures: The fund is open to startups and early-stage companies that are dedicated to addressing social or environmental challenges. These ventures should have a clear mission and business model that aligns with creating positive impact.
• Early-Stage Companies: The fund is particularly interested in supporting ventures that are in the early stages of development but have a well-defined plan for growth and impact. This includes companies that are in the process of launching their products or services or those looking to scale proven solutions.
• Connection to the University of Calgary (Preferred): While not mandatory, ventures that have a connection to the University of Calgarywhether through alumni, faculty, student involvement, or university-affiliated researchare strongly encouraged to apply.
