As administered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, it supports all stages of environmental projects, including planning, conducting feasibility studies, leading pilot projects, and investing in capital projects.

  • Applicant EligibilityThe following organizations are eligible for SAH funding:
  • Canadian municipal governments (e.g., towns, cities, regions, districts, and local boards thereof); or
  • Canadian municipal corporations or municipal housing/service providers; or
  • Canadian non-profit, mission-driven affordable housing providers; or
  • Canadian non-profit cooperative housing
  • Provider.
