The Parks Improvement Funding Program has funds available to qualifying organizations looking to improve or enhance an existing neighbourhood park.

The Community Improvement Grant provides opportunities for community groups to make enhancements within the City of Grande Prairie. Grants will support residents in working together to provide an overall benefit to the community.

Benefits of the Community Improvement Grant program:
  • City Council allocates $25,000 per year for parks improvement projects.
Eligibility criteria of the Community Improvement Grant program:
  • To qualify you must:
  • Be a Non-profit organizations. Consideration will be given to businesses, individuals and schools for projects that provide an overall benefit to the community.
  • Projects that are accessible to all residents.
  • Satisfactory completion of previous projects.
