Overview of the PME MTL Fund program:

PME MTL Funds support start-ups and growing companies and help maintain jobs in Montréal. The financing provided by PME MTL is adapted to each company’s situation. These loans are often useful as a lever in obtaining other sources of financing. These loans are intended for social economy enterprises, for-profit companies and co-operatives.

Benefits of the PME MTL Fund program:
  • Loans up to amaximum of $300,000
Eligibility criteria of the PME MTL Fund program:
  • To be eligible for a loan, a company or its promoters must meet the following conditions:
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Be legally constituted and entered in the Registre dentreprises du Quebec (REQ)
  • Have your business in Montreal and your head office in Quebec
  • Submit a business plan or project summary, including updated or projected financial statements, a section on the company's strategic approach to sustainable development, and any other documents deemed relevant
  • Show that you have entrepreneurial experience, knowledge and management skills
  • Invest at least 20% of the total cost of your project
