The Local Investment Funds (LIF) program, offered by Laval Économique, is designed to provide financial support to businesses within the Laval region. The program aims to stimulate economic growth by offering loans and financial assistance to startups and existing businesses that are looking to expand, innovate, or improve their operations.

Eligibility criteria of the Fonds locaux d’investissement (local investment fund) program:

Who Can Apply:
Companies with activities located in the Laval area.
General and Small Business Components (FLI-PE):
Capital Expenditures: Land, buildings, equipment, machinery, vehicles, and incorporation fees.
Technology Acquisition: Includes purchasing technologies, software, and patents (but not research and development).
Working Capital: Funds for day-to-day operations (excluding goodwill expenses).
Professional Fees: Fees directly related to the acquisition transaction.
Takeover Component:
Acquisition of Target Company Assets: Expenses related to purchasing the assets of a company you are acquiring.
