Overview of the Desjardins GoodSpark Fund program:

Desjardins is committed to enhancing the economic and social well-being of people and communities. To support this mission, we are excited to introduce the 2023-2024 Desjardins GoodSpark Grants Program. Recognizing the vital role of small businesses in communities across Canada, we are offering $20,000 grants to help them succeed. Small businesses are encouraged to apply for the GoodSpark Grants through our program website at goodsparkgrants.ca.

Benefits of the Desjardins GoodSpark Fund program:
  • 1 of 150 GoodSpark Grants of $20,000 (gross amount)* to be awarded and made payable to small businesses.
Eligibility criteria of the Desjardins GoodSpark Fund program:
  • The projects submitted must:
  • Be socioeconomic in nature and be both impactful and sustainable
  • Bring something new to the range of services offered by the project sponsor
  • Have a positive impact on people and communities
  • Be in step with local priorities
  • Meet a community need
  • Rally key community partners
  • Reflect sustainable development goals
  • Focus on the best interests of the community, not the project sponsor
