Overview of the DIGITALIZATION COMPETENCE CENTRE program:

The DMAP is a government-funded initiative delivered by the Ontario Centers of Innovation (OCI) in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade. It aims to support SMEs in navigating the complexities of digital transformation. The program provides up to $15,000 in reimbursement funding, covering 50% of eligible project costs, to develop a comprehensive Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP). Participants work with approved Digital Adoption Consultants (DACs) from the DCC roster, who help identify technology gaps, create tailored strategies, and guide implementation efforts. The program also provides SMEs with access to the latest digital technologies, training on new tools and processes, and connections to funding partners to bring their digital transformation strategies to life. This program prioritizes enhancing the digital literacy of SMEs, addressing barriers to technology adoption, and improving productivity through automation and technology-driven innovation.
