Overview of the Ontario Emerging Technologies Fund program:
The OETF was designed to respond to the challenges faced in raising capital by innovative, private, Ontario-based companies in the clean technology, life sciences advanced health technologies, and digital media and information and communications technology sectors. The OETF has completed its active investment period and continues to actively manage its direct investment portfolio through to realization. OETF’s portfolio of companies is well represented and dispersed throughout the major urban centers of southern Ontario referred to as Ontario’s Innovation Super Corridor.
