Overview of the Partnership Development Grants program:

The Partnership Development Grants program by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) aims to foster the development of new partnerships and support the growth of existing partnerships between postsecondary institutions and other sectors. This initiative encourages collaborative research, knowledge mobilization, and the co-creation of new knowledge in the humanities and social sciences.

Eligibility criteria of the Partnership Development Grants program:
  • To be eligible for the Partnership Development Grants, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Eligible Institutions:
  • Canadian postsecondary institutions with a mandate for research and eligible not-for-profit organizations.
  • Project Director:
  • The project director must be affiliated with an eligible institution and hold a position that permits them to engage in research.
  • Partners:
  • Projects must involve at least one partner organization from the public, private, or not-for-profit sectors.
