Overview of the Angel Forum program:

Angel Forum is a non-profit organization that connects promising start-ups with accredited angel capital. At the same time they offer workshops to both entrepreneurs and investors. Angel Forum provides a community for new or seasoned investors with their wealth of resources, knowledge, and opportunities.

  • Ability to syndicate investment deals with other Angel groups
  • Member Affiliation with Canadas National Angel Capital Organization and the Angel Capital Association in the US
  • What Investors offer:
  • Access to a diverse, focused, supportive and motivated group of Investors to network with.
  • And a 10 mins presentation slot followed by a 10 mins Q&A session at one of our in-person events.
Eligibility criteria of the Angel Forum program:
  • These are the steps to be considered for a presentation slot:
  • Send in your most recent pitch deck and 2-page Executive Summary (following the linked format)
  • We will have a close look at the materials you sent us and will let you know if you are potentially a good fit. If you are, we will add you to our live list of companies we select from 2-3 weeks before an Angel Forum or Summit.
  • We will send you an invite to present if selected. If you accept, you are kindly requested to pay the presentation fee below. This covers the presentation, attendance of the full event for 2 company representatives, the inclusion of 2 pagers in the booklet, company exposure to our full membership, food and drinks, and of course ample networking opportunities.
  • What Investors look for:
  • A product or technology that solves a problem
  • High growth potential in a large market
  • Sustainable competitive advantages (usually proprietary technology)
  • Probability to earn the investor 10x their investment in less than 5 years
  • Traction, and a strong management team
