The MWE Grant and Loan Program is designed to empower Métis women entrepreneurs by offering a combination of grants, loans, and mentorship. The program provides: Grants: Up to $5,000 to assist with business start-up or expansion costs. Loans: Up to $10,000 to support larger financial needs for business development. Mentorship: Access to experienced business advisors for guidance and support. This initiative aims to foster economic development within the Métis community by supporting women entrepreneurs in achieving their business goals.

Eligibility criteria of the MWE Grant & Loan Program program:

To be eligible for the program, applicants must:
Be Metis women residing in Manitoba.
Have a viable business idea or an existing business requiring support for start-up, acquisition, or expansion.
Demonstrate the ability to manage and operate the business effectively.
Provide a detailed business plan outlining objectives, strategies, and financial projections.
