The "Mon avenir j'y vois 2.0" program, managed by Horizon TNL and funded by Employment and Social Development Canada, aims to address labour shortages in Newfoundland and Labrador by integrating young people into the workforce. This 16-week program offers financial assistance to employers, helping them recruit and train young employees by partially covering their salaries.

Eligibility criteria of the Subsidy Program - "Mon avenir j'y vois 2.0" program:
  • Eligibility Criteria
  • For Youth:
  • Aged 16 to 30 years.
  • Available to work full-time (30-40 hours per week).
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have valid Canadian refugee status.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Additional Eligibility: Youth hired within the last two months who meet the criteria can also be enrolled in the program.
