  • The Canadian Centre for Housing Technology (CCHT) is a unique research facility operated by the National Research Council Canada (NRC) in partnership with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). The CCHT provides a highly controlled environment for testing and evaluating new housing technologies, products, and practices. This facility includes twin research houses and a technology assessment house, allowing for side-by-side comparisons and real-world testing under Canadian climate conditions.
