  • To be eligible for the AgriStability Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Type of Business: The applicant must be actively involved in farming or agricultural production.
  • Income Requirements: The business must have allowable income from farming activities.
  • Participation in Related Programs: Producers must be enrolled in the AgriInvest Program, which is a prerequisite for AgriStability.
  • Geographic Location: The program is available to agricultural producers across Canada.
Eligibility criteria of the AgriStability - Saskatchewan program:
  • To be eligible to participate in the AgriStability Program, you must:
  • Derive income from the primary production of agricultural commodities;
  • Carried on the business of farming in Canada and reported farming income (or loss) for income tax purposes;
  • Completed a minimum of six consecutive months of farming activity in the program year;
  • Completed a production cycle; and
  • Submitted the required information by the deadlines.
