The Yukon Community Development Fund (CDF) supports community-led projects aimed at improving the quality of life in Yukon. It provides financial assistance for initiatives that enhance community infrastructure, promote economic development, or foster social and cultural enrichment. Eligible projects may include those focused on building or renovating community facilities, developing local programs, or supporting activities that benefit Yukon residents. The fund prioritizes projects that demonstrate clear community support and long-term benefits.

Eligibility criteria of the Community project and Event funding program:
  • Registered non-profit societies
  • Not-for-profit corporations incorporated under the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act based in Yukon
  • Charitable organizations
  • Municipal and First Nations governments
  • First Nation development corporations undertaking community-level initiatives
  • Eligible projects and events:
  • New construction projects
  • Renovations, restorations and other physical improvements to buildings or lands
  • Knowledge or skill development
  • Research and planning
  • Programs and events
