Overview of the IO Accelerator Program program:

The IO Accelerator Program combines and implements best practices from Invest Ottawa and fellow accelerators around the world. It is designed to rapidly and systematically accelerate the development and commercial success of high growth technology firms. In a phased and milestone-based approach, founders will push themselves over twelve to eighteen months to create a scalable and globally competitive technology company.

Benefits of the IO Accelerator Program program:
  • Mentorship
  • A minimum of five hours a month of mentorship from experts and former entrepreneurs in sales, marketing, product management, finance and HR. Youll also have access to specialists in areas such as SEO, UX, pitching, and more.
  • Funders & Investors
  • Guidance and assistance in accessing key government funding programs, and when you are ready, introductions to angel investors and venture capitalists.
  • Market Insights
  • IO's in-house Market Insights team will work with your team to provide market intelligence in industry-specific market research and analysis, curated leads within your target market, website evaluation tools, and specific investor profiles that match your business.
Eligibility criteria of the IO Accelerator Program program:
  • You have developed a minimum viable product (MVP)
  • Sign
  • You are able to demonstrate customer traction
  • (i.e. revenue or pilots with customers)
  • Symbol
  • You have less than $2M in annual revenue
  • First aid
  • You are ready to invest time in following a high-touch, milestone-driven program
