MUSIC PROGRAMS- Produce

This program is designed to support the production of culturally relevant and commercially viable music recording products by the Manitoba music recording industry. Applicants may apply under one of three different program levels.

Overview of the MUSIC PROGRAMS- Produce program:

Culturally relevant music recordings that are commercially viable are being financially supported by this program. Financing is available to help record six or more songs which are being released for sale by either individual artists or a group .

Benefits of the MUSIC PROGRAMS- Produce program:
  • To encourage culturally relevant and commercially viable production activity in the Manitoba music recording industry by providing financial support for costs associated with music recordings.
  • To encourage the development of the Manitoba music recording industrys infrastructure by increasing production levels, marketability, and improving skill levels.
Eligibility criteria of the MUSIC PROGRAMS- Produce program:
  • Eligible applicants: The applicant must be an artist who is a Manitoba resident. The contact person can be a representative of the artist (e.g., manager, label, grant writer).
