Overview of the Neighbourhood Connections Grant program:

The Neighbourhood Connections Grant is designed to empower community groups, organizations, and businesses to undertake projects that foster stronger neighbourhood connections and address specific community needs. Eligible projects include block parties, neighbourhood art installations, social, cultural, or recreational activities that are open to the public and offered at free or low cost. Applicants must demonstrate a partnership with at least one other organization and provide a 25% matching component of the total requested funding amount, which can include cash, in-kind donations, or volunteer labour. The program aims to achieve outcomes such as enhancing community safety, increasing inclusion opportunities, celebrating Indigenous culture, and promoting beautiful and clean spaces.
