The TELUS #StandWithOwners program awards $125,000 in funding, advertising, and technology support to innovative Canadian small businesses that are shaping the future and making a positive impact in their communities.

Overview of the StandWithOwners program:

Launched by TELUS Business, the #StandWithOwners campaign is a national initiative that recognizes and supports Canadian small businesses demonstrating innovation, leadership, and community involvement. In 2024, the program will award up to five grand prizes, each valued at $125,000, as well as 10 runner-up packages worth $20,000. The program is open to owners and founders of small businesses across Canada, including both for-profit and social enterprises.

Benefits of the StandWithOwners program:
  • 5 grand prize winners receive $200,000 in funding, technology and exposure.
  • 15 winners receive $20,000 in funding and technology.
  • Access to TELUS technology solutions, including connectivity, devices, and services
  • High-impact national media exposure

  • Mentorship and advisory access through TELUS' partner network
  • Available to businesses across all provinces and territories
Eligibility criteria of the StandWithOwners program:
  • Eligible Applicants Must:
  • Be a legal resident of Canada, 18 years or older
  • Be the owner, founder, or co-founder of a business incorporated in Canada
  • Have a small business with:
    • Up to 100 employees
    • Annual revenue of $100,000 to $5 million
  • Be able to demonstrate innovation, impact, and community contribution
  • Eligible Business Types Include:
  • Incorporated companies
  • For-profit or social enterprises
  • Indigenous-owned businesses
  • Family-owned, woman-led, or newcomer-founded ventures
