Translation- Arts Across Canada

Funding is available for translating Canadian literary or dramatic works into French, English, Indigenous languages, ASL, LSQ, or other Canadian sign languages for publication or presentation in Canada.

Overview of the Translation- Arts Across Canada program:

The Translation Grants Program under the Arts Across Canada initiative by the Canada Council for the Arts is designed to support the translation of literary works. This program aims to enhance the accessibility of Canadian literature by making it available in both of Canada’s official languages, French and English. The grant supports the translation of literary works that contribute to the diversity and richness of Canadian culture, allowing these works to reach wider audiences across the country.
