Overview of the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP) program:

The CETP Joint Call 2024 is part of an international effort to promote research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) of clean energy technologies. The program focuses on supporting innovation that enables significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, promotes energy efficiency, and drives the clean energy transition across multiple sectors. ERA’s participation in this call aims to align Alberta’s climate action initiatives with global clean energy goals. Through this program, ERA is looking to co-fund projects that bring innovative technologies to market and contribute to sustainable economic growth and environmental stewardship in Alberta. The projects funded will be expected to collaborate with international partners, addressing key energy challenges while fostering industry-academia partnerships, cross-sector cooperation, and the commercialization of clean energy technologies.

Benefits of the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP) program:
  • Financial Support: Up to $1.5 million CAD in funding for clean energy projects.
  • International Collaboration: Opportunities for global partnerships to drive technology development.
  • Market Access: Support for commercialization and scaling of innovative technologies.
  • Sectoral Growth: Catalyzes cross-sector partnerships and promotes sustainable economic growth in Alberta.
