Overview of the Commercial Refrigeration Program program:

The Commercial Refrigeration Program by Efficiency Manitoba offers rebates and incentives to businesses for upgrading their refrigeration equipment to more energy-efficient models. The program aims to reduce energy consumption and costs for commercial operations. Eligible upgrades include efficient compressors, controls, doors, motors, and lighting. The program is designed for businesses that pay their own energy bills, use the equipment in a commercial capacity, and are the end users of the equipment. Participants can receive rebates after installing the approved equipment and submitting the necessary documentation.

Eligibility criteria of the Commercial Refrigeration Program program:
  • You must be the payer of the energy bill.
  • You are the end user of the equipment, not a vendor, manufacturer, or installer.
  • The equipment must be used in a commercial setting.
