The Digital Economy Program is designed to help small businesses in Alberta leverage digital tools and technologies to grow and compete in the online marketplace. The program offers a range of services, including training, workshops, and personalized one-on-one support to assist businesses in their digital transformation.

Eligibility criteria of the Digital Economy Program program:
  • Home-based or commercial business that is registered in Alberta.
  • Alberta-based Indigenous businesses that are not registered may still be eligible.
  • Businesses with 0-49 employees.
  • This includes self-employed business owners
  • The following types of businesses are ineligible:
  • Non-profits, charitable trusts, and franchises.
