The JEDI Aboriginal Development Fund (JADF) is a financial support program aimed at fostering economic development among Indigenous communities in New Brunswick. Managed by the Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI), this fund is designed to help Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs grow and succeed by providing them with the necessary resources to develop their projects.

Benefits of the JEDI Aboriginal Development Fund program:
  • The JADF will provide a maximum contribution of up to 50% of total planning costs not to exceed $16,000.
Eligibility criteria of the JEDI Aboriginal Development Fund program:
  • The JADF will provide assistance for:
  • Business plans (start-up or expansion);
  • Marketing plans;
  • Management training;
  • Mentoring programs and business support;
  • Seminars and workshops on specific business topics;
  • Entrepreneurship development;
  • Conference attendance.
