The Ontario Together Trade Fund (OTTF) is a targeted funding program under the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade. It is designed to help Ontario companies strengthen supply chains, reduce trade barriers, and boost competitiveness in international markets. The program supports Ontario-based manufacturers and innovators that are investing in technology, capital, and processes that will help Ontario companies compete more effectively on a global scale. Eligible projects may include expanding production, adopting advanced manufacturing technologies, improving productivity and quality, increasing exports, or commercializing innovative products. OTTF aims to create highly skilled jobs in Ontario and ensure the province’s economic resilience by supporting domestic capacity and minimizing reliance on foreign supply chains. Funding decisions prioritize businesses that contribute to Ontario’s critical goods and services, especially those aligned with health care, agriculture, food processing, and advanced manufacturing.

  • Demonstrate ability to fund project costs not covered by the grant
  • Eligible Projects:
  • Minimum $750,000 in eligible costs
  • Focused on improving production capacity, exports, or competitiveness
  • Ineligible Applicants:
  • Non-Ontario based businesses
  • Organizations without full-time employees in Ontario
  • Those unable to demonstrate financial viability
