The PADAT - Support for the Development of Tourist Attractions (Volet 1) is a financial assistance program aimed at enhancing the tourism sector in Quebec. The program is designed to help businesses and organizations in the tourism industry develop, expand, and improve tourist attractions to boost Quebec’s appeal as a travel destination.

Benefits of the PADAT: A Program Supporting the Development of Tourist Attractions program:
  • Eligible projects linked to a tourist attraction, equipment or service and those linked to:
  • Construction;
  • Reconstruction, including the demolition of existing obsolete infrastructure;
  • Enlargement;
  • Interior or exterior design;
  • Adaptation or retraining;
  • The acquisition or replacement of equipment;
  • The acquisition of a tourism business;
  • The deployment of a new tourist experience.
  • The following expenses are eligible:
  • Working capital
  • Equipment and fixed assets
  • Other conditions may apply.
Eligibility criteria of the PADAT: A Program Supporting the Development of Tourist Attractions program:
  • Your business must meet the following conditions:

  • Carry out activities in Quebec;
  • When required, hold the Aventure Ecotourisme Quebec Quality-Safety Accredited seal or be in the process of obtaining it, or commit to carrying out such a process;
  • Demonstrate profitability prospects.
