The Community Advancement Program (CAP), spearheaded by Community Futures Peterborough (CFP), is designed to enhance business attraction, investment, retention, and employment opportunities within the City and County of Peterborough. This initiative is centered on creating economically sustainable communities through projects aligned with entrepreneurship, economic opportunities, and tourism. CAP supports activities that contribute to community stability and competitive rural economic diversification. Its goals align with the priorities of the Federal Economic Development Agency of Southern Ontario (Fed Dev Ontario), emphasizing sustainable development, inclusivity, and economic competitiveness.
