It prioritizes projects that involve Indigenous peoples, seniors, women, economically disadvantaged individuals, persons with disabilities, new Canadians, and single parents. Projects must occur between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, with a portion of the grant specifically allocated to target populations.
