The Advance-ON Program by GreenCentre Canada supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in southern Ontario's chemistry and materials sector by providing technical services to accelerate their innovations to market, enabling business scaling and growth.

Overview of the Advance-ON program:

Advance-ON is designed to assist southern Ontario SMEs developing cleantech or battery technologies by offering access to GreenCentre Canada's comprehensive suite of services. Successful applicants receive customized project support, including technology validation, product development, process refinement, application testing, and custom synthesis. The program aims to drive innovations to market faster, facilitating business scaling and growth. Financial support is provided by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario).

Eligibility criteria of the Advance-ON program:
  • To be eligible for the Advance-ON Program, applicants must:
  • Location: Be an SME located in southern Ontario.
  • Sector: Operate within the chemistry and materials sector, specifically focusing on cleantech or battery technologies.
  • Financial Contribution: Be able to contribute 50% of the total project cost.
  • Company Size: Qualify as a small or medium-sized enterprise.
