Overview of the Community Futures Manitoba program:

To provide support to rural communities for the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans leading to the development and diversification of the local economy. Providing Business Loans: Standard Loan (up to $150,000) Entrepreneurs with Disabilities (up to $150,000)

Benefits of the Community Futures Manitoba program:

• Develop long-term community economic development strategies and plans
• Coordinate resources to implement development plans
• Promote the region and its economic opportunities. CFs further support the local economic development process by assisting area entrepreneurs with:
  • Preparing and assessing business plans
  • Providing business and market information

Eligibility criteria of the Community Futures Manitoba program:

• Qualified applicants will be provided with small business information and counseling, including business start-up advice, information on federal and provincial programs and services, assistance with business planning and entrepreneurial training and development.
• In addition, applicants will receive small business repayable loans, loan guarantees or investments up to $150,000, when financing from other sources is insufficient.
